 FAQs

  • I provide in-home support throughout Seattle but I primarily serve families in South Seattle, Mercer Island, East Bellevue and North Renton. For some areas (eg. 405 corridor/North Seattle) a small travel fee may be applied.

For those farther afield, we can build a virtual support package. Please contact me for more details.

  • Not right now. Currently, I am only able to provide postpartum support. I know a lot of wonderful birth doulas and I am happy to help connect you!

  • As your doula I do not:

    • Project personal beliefs about baby care and parenting onto you and your family.

    • Provide medical advice or psychological counseling.

    • Provide childcare while you or another family member are not present.

    • Provide transportation for mother, baby or family.

    • Deep housecleaning or heavy chores.

As your doula, I am committed to:

    • Offering evidence-based information and non-clinical care for feeding, baby care, and general wellness.

    • Listening to your birth/adoption story, postpartum experiences, and questions with a confidential and non-judgmental ear.

    • Provide resources and connections to services and community as needed.

    • Taking care of your baby and older sibling(s) while you rest and heal.

    • Empowering and supporting you and your family through the emotional and physical changes of bringing a baby home.

  • Monday through Friday I offer daytime shifts between 10a-2p and evenings shifts between 6:30-10:30p. Please contact me to check availability.
